Brief History:

Bentley was founded in 1919 by W.O. Bentley, known for his passion for performance and luxury cars. Early Bentleys achieved significant racing success, particularly at Le Mans. The company faced financial difficulties during the Great Depression and was acquired by Rolls-Royce in 1931, with production moving to Derby and later Crewe. After various ownership changes, including Vickers PLC, Bentley was acquired by the Volkswagen Group in 1998, ushering in a new era of investment and expansion.
