Xpeng G9: Stockholm to Gibraltar Road Trip Pt5 – France to Spain
2024 Road Trip
Day 5
Annecy (France) to Tossa De Mar (Spain), 695km.
It took 6 hours , with 2 charging stops & cost 51 euros.
The temperature was 15-20c mainly dry.
Our planning was not so great for this stretch of the journey as we had missed 200km from the distances. But, with a full battery C/o the Hotel in Annecy, the extra milage was not a problem for the Xpeng G9 Performance.
From Annecy, the motorways wound through the beautifully green French countryside.
Charging at Ionity Chargers Montelimar and Narbonne, we just had time for to eat something, look in the shop before the car was back to 100%.
With speed limits in France and Spain our average speed reduced to approx. 125-130kmph and our range pretty much was constantly 390km.
First time back in Tossa De Mar for 35 years, I expected everything to have changed. But as it turned out, it is still a pretty small town with lots of character.
The stunning beach was not looking its best in the pouring rain, but the quaint restaurants and shops still had that local small scale feel about it.
Charming and with plenty of character, another stop over destination, if you are passing near by.
Tossa De Mar is definitely worth a return visit.
Day 5 Summary:
Lovely smooth drive through southern France, to finally enter Spain.
Xpeng G9 Performance range at average 130kmph is 380-390km.
Although we had mis calculated by 200km, we soon made up the time.
Tossa De Mar was a surprisingly good stopover.
