SmartGrandads Final Thoughts
Just as with ICE cars, if you don’t have a driveway, things like parking, washing, etc. all become more difficult and even more costly. As we are still less than 10 years into the transition to 100% EVs, it is not surprising that on street charging is not yet mature, however, with lampost chargers and pavement channel legislation, real on-street charging solutions are beginning to appear.
In another 5-10 years time, imagine there could be any amount of companies filly this space with as yet unseen solutions. So if you don’t have a driveway for home charging, there are solutions on their way.
