Built on an advanced platform, the base 75 kWh model utilizes a 400V architecture with an LFP chemistry, offering 490 km (304 miles) of WLTP range and a 0-100 km/h time of 6.8 seconds.

The premium 100 kWh NCM battery versions feature a rapid 800V Silicon Carbide (SiC) setup. The RWD Long Range delivers 655 km (441 miles) WLTP at an efficiency of 3.8 miles/kWh (approx. 6.1 km/kWh) and hits 0-100 km/h in 4.9 seconds. The AWD Performance drops its 0-100 km/h sprint to an incredible 3.2 seconds. DC fast charging peaks at a blistering 369 kW.

Technical Capabilities

Equipped with the IM ADAS suite running on an NVIDIA Orin N chip, the IM5 includes proactive safety features like Adaptive Cruise, Lane Keep Assist, and a transparent chassis 360-degree camera. Higher trims add an Intelligent Four-Wheel Steering system with a “Crab Mode.” While it has active thermal management, V2L, V2H, or V2G vehicle-to-grid bidirectional power capabilities are not officially supported.
