DS

– Ownership and Brief History

Ownership:

DS Automobiles is currently owned by Stellantis, one of the world’s leading automakers formed from the merger of PSA Group and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles.

Brief History:

DS Automobiles began in 2009 as a premium sub-brand of Citroën, building on the legacy of the iconic 1955 Citroën DS. It aimed to bring French luxury and innovation to the automotive market. In 2014, DS officially became a standalone brand under the PSA Group (which also owned Peugeot and Citroën). Since then, it has focused on creating distinctive, high-end vehicles with a strong emphasis on design, comfort, and advanced technology, now continuing this vision under the Stellantis umbrella.
