DO GOOD

– Ownership and Brief History

Ownership:

Dogood Motors is a British electric vehicle company dedicated to the future of urban micro-mobility. Founded by entrepreneur Yilmaz Bora, who also serves as the CEO, the company operates under the vision of creating smarter, greener, and more affordable transportation solutions for modern cities.

Brief History:

The company stepped into the automotive spotlight with the launch of the Dogood ZERO (originally introduced in partnership with or under the ARK brand ecosystem). Positioned at its launch as the UK’s most affordable new car, the ZERO is a tandem two-seater micro-EV engineered with a lightweight, strong aluminum monocoque chassis.

Designed to simplify EV ownership, Dogood avoids traditional, costly dealership networks. Instead, they rely on a flexible, nationwide aftersales infrastructure consisting of over 400 certified independent EV workshops to handle service and repairs. By focusing on accessible pricing, lightweight materials, and practical “plug-and-charge” urban design, Dogood Motors has quickly carved out a distinct niche in the European micro-EV landscape.
