Categorized as an A-segment sub-compact SUV, the Inster is based on the Korean-market Casper. It measures 3,825mm long, 1,610mm wide, and 1,575mm high, making it perfectly sized for tight city streets while maintaining a tall, commanding driving position.

2. Platform & Efficiency

Built on a 400V architecture, the Inster offers two battery options: 42kWh (Standard) and 49kWh (Long Range). It achieves a range of up to 355-370km (WLTP) with an efficiency of roughly 14.9 kWh/100km. Expect a 0-100km/h time of 10.6 seconds (Long Range) or 11.7 seconds (Standard).

3. Technical Capabilities

Despite its size, it is packed with Hyundai’s SmartSense ADAS, including Highway Driving Assist 1.5, Blind-spot View Monitor, and Forward Collision-Avoidance. It also supports Vehicle-to-Load (V2L), allowing you to power external devices.

4. Interior & Storage

The interior is remarkably versatile with a four-seat layout. All seats, including the driver’s, can fold flat. Rear storage is 280 litres, expandable to 351 litres by sliding the rear seats forward, and maxes out at 1,059 litres. There is no front trunk (frunk).

The Bluelink app provides remote climate control, charging schedules, and “Last Mile Navigation,” which continues directions on your phone after you park.
